Memberships and Passes

There are currently two methods of paying to use the space. A day pass or a monthly membership. What’s currently included is subject to change. We’re constantly learning and changing along the way, so if you’d like to have an input into how we develop and improve, then now is a good time to join! Please understand that things will change along the way as we want to open on more days to book, add more tools and expand our capabilities. This will be possible with your support and donations. Membership fees also fund the space. Our membership fees are non-refundable but you’ll have access to the best tools and a friendly space! Please read carefully.

Volunteering to use the space

You can volunteer your time in exchange for using the space. We offer a limited number of volunteering opportunities each month. You will get a time pass equivalent to the number of volunteered hours. Volunteering may be in The Tool House or around the rest of the museum. If you have a specific skill such as carpentry or electronics, we may be able to accommodate you on a project beyond the list below.

We currently have the following volunteering opportunities:

  • Cleaning the site
  • Welcoming visitors to the museum on Sundays
  • Showing visitors around the tube carriages and model railway

Please contact us if you would like to volunteer and use the space. We are also run by volunteers and it may take us a while to respond.
